Editing, I miss you.
Lost had a contest for fans to put together a 30 second promo using their footage, music and FX. I couldn't download that crap fast enough and spent a glorious week concerning myself with pacing, edits, music cuts and versions! I kept calling my husband at work, excited about my latest trim. To a 30 second piece! I felt human again.
They have released the final five and I am not among them. I knew that Losties would get super creative and do things beyond just editing. And they did. Graphics and original footage and stuff. But mine was truly awesome. At least I know it.
It's gonna be time for Mommy to work again soon. In a way that doesn't make me a stranger to my kids. (Hear that, universe?)
