SV2011 Day 5

Something clicked for Pyrate today at swim lessons. Suddenly, she's not afraid to put her head in anymore and she knows she can swim! She couldn't get enough of being under water. Why do I feel like her new found confidence makes her more dangerous around water, not less? No matter, watching her find a joy for swimming was amazing!

The rest of the day we coasted. Pepper needed a nap, real bad. Pyrate rested and then we painted our toes red, white and blue for the weekend. Then it was our friends' big fireworks party which meant the kids got to play, eat sugar and run wild until 10:15 at night! And I got to have bacon-wrapped jalapenos. Heaven!
